Noctilucent clouds are the highest clouds on Earth, about 76 to 85 km up. They still catch the Sun after it has set, so they glow over ground that is already dark. A deep blue twilight with thin silver clouds and the last amber at the horizon, under the line SUNLIT AFTER DARK. Gallery-wrapped canvas, 16 x 20 in (41 x 51 cm) and 1.18 in (3 cm) deep, on a New Zealand pine frame. The whole picture sits on the front and the sides carry a mirrored copy of its edge, so no lettering wraps round the fold. Polycotton canvas with a satin finish, with a hanging kit to put together. Printed in Australia.
