Snow Is Clear Ice 2027 Wall Calendar

Each snow crystal is clear ice; snow looks white because its many crystal faces scatter all colours of light back to the eye. A 2027 wall calendar with twelve calm scenes of snow and ice, from a summer snow bank and a blue glacier to frozen lakes, sea ice and wind-packed plateaus, set in southern seasons order. Each month carries one short, true fact in small print along the foot of the picture, from SOME SNOW LASTS ALL SUMMER in January to GLACIERS BEGIN AS SNOW in December. The cover reads SNOW IS CLEAR ICE. Three sizes, all spiral bound: 11 x 8.2 inches (28 x 21 cm) landscape, 12 x 12 inches (30 x 30 cm) square and 13.7 x 11 inches (35 x 28 cm) landscape, each on matte or glossy paper. Printed in Australia.

Written for southern seasons: summer in January, winter in July.
